Barcelona in Santa Catarina Blend
Eight Boral profiles and 85 colors, from Spanish mission barrels to slate and hand-split shake, every one Class A fire rated. Installed by San Gabriel Valley Roofing.
Only tile gives you authentic old-world character with the benefits of a durable, modern material. Boral captured the look of natural slate, clay and wood, historically the world’s most widespread roofing materials, in a concrete tile with unmatched curb appeal. Madera, Slate and Barcelona replicate those materials while lowering installation cost and raising longevity and energy efficiency.

Roof system components
Boral treats a roof as a performing system, not just a covering. Battens, underlayment, vented eave risers, hip and ridge blocking and flashings work together so moisture drains and dries, and heat vents out through the ridge. A home with the Energy Efficient Roof System can save up to 22% a year on heating and cooling compared with asphalt shingles.

Raises every tile off the deck for airflow and drainage, and removes thousands of nail holes from the underlayment.

Air enters at the vented eave riser, rises under the tile and leaves through the ridge, with no mechanical parts.

Rake, ridge, hip starters and apex pieces matched to each profile, so there is no need to mix colored mortar.

Weather blocking at hips and ridges keeps wind-driven rain out and adds ventilation; valleys channel water off the deck.
